Marias Story Maria's Story

Maria is a young, immigrant woman living in the United States. In Texas she meets, falls in love with, and marries a seemingly wonderful man. After the marriage he becomes abusive, to the point that Maria is no longer able to go out in public because of the obvious signs of physical abuse.
